Windham driver dies after single-vehicle rollover on I-95 Exit 53 off-ramp near Portland

A 33-year-old man from Windham died early Thursday after a single-vehicle crash on the northbound Exit 53 off-ramp of Interstate 95, a section of the Maine Turnpike in the Portland area. The crash was reported at about 1:46 a.m. on Feb. 12, 2026.
The driver, identified as Daniel St. Peter of Windham, was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.

Based on an initial investigation, St. Peter was driving a Honda Accord when the vehicle left the roadway on the Exit 53 northbound off-ramp and rolled over. No other vehicles were reported to be involved.
